Experience pure sleep and wake up rested every morning with a perfectly fitting Bedrebel pillowcase. After all, a pillowcase that is too big or too small is just not comfortable to lie and sleep on. Besides, it looks untidy in your bedroom and you will find your bright white pillow bulging out of your pillowcase every morning. That is why Bedrebel offers you a choice of the most common pillowcase sizes and why we have incorporated a clever hidden zip in the design for optimal closure. In short, at Bedrebel you will always find a perfectly fitting pillowcase and you will sleep in style & comfort at all times!
Percale cotton 200 TC is a durable crispy and airy type of fabric that is perfect for people who like it cooler and/or get too hot in bed quickly. The naturally firm fabric therefore feels a bit rougher and cooler on the skin. Because of these properties, percale cotton does wrinkle a bit more compared to other types of fabric. However, no worries, after each drying in the dryer or on the washing line, this type of fabric is completely smooth again and looks like a perfectly made and clean bed. Percale cotton is not for nothing the "hotel standard" among bed linen.
The Bedrebel Dreamteam deliberately chose a fine cotton percale weaving of 200 TC (thread count) for its cotton products. This is because a higher thread count than 200 TC in percale cotton results in the fabric feeling very "plastic", artificial and sweaty on the skin. In contrast, a lower thread count than 200 TC results in a lower quality and shorter product life. In short, a percale weave of 200 TC is perfectly crispy plus breathable, has a long lifespan and also holds strong at all times during washing. A true dream for every Bedrebel!
A standard size, colour and fabric type of pillowcase when buying a new duvet cover? We think that's a very outdated concept. That's why you choose & order at Bedrebel pillowcases always separately from your duvet cover! So you can order the exact size of pillowcase that fits perfectly around your (and your bed partner's) pillows. In addition, you can choose from several fabric types and give free rein to your creativity with colour combinations. In short, it saves you an unnecessary extra purchase of correctly fitting pillowcases & so together we have a positive impact on the world by avoiding the unnecessary use of (raw) materials!
A pillowcase that is too big or too small is just not comfortable. Besides, it looks untidy in your bedroom, your pillow bulges out of the pillowcase night after night and you certainly can't bring it to a pillow fight. So find the size of your pillow on the attached wash label or alternatively measure the width (w) and length (l) of your pillow in centimetres. Ideally, the size of your pillowcase should almost match the size of your pillow. There are only a select number of regular pillow sizes and at Bedrebel you therefore have a choice of almost all of these most common pillowcase sizes.
*For ergonomic sleep pillows of size 40 x 60, we recommend the pillowcase size 50 x 60 and for ergonomic sleep pillows of size 40 x 65, we recommend the pillowcase size 50 x 70.
Do you like to sleep on a percale cotton pillowcase but your partner on a satin cotton pillowcase? Of course, no problem at Bedrebel! At Bedrebel, your choice of fabric type does not affect the colour experience. The Bedrebel colours are always identical, regardless of your choice of fabric and product type. So there is never any colour difference between, for example, a percale Merlot red pillowcase & a satin Merlot red pillowcase. That makes sense to us at Bedrebel. So mix and match without any worries, not only in colour but also in fabric type!
The 100% sustainable and organic cotton from which our Bedrebel products are made meets OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, the strictest sustainability label in the industry today. Thus, together we ensure that cotton communities survive and thrive, while protecting & restoring the environment.
To close the whole circle properly, we have chosen to manufacture our Bedrebel products close to home. Namely in Portugal. There, our products are passionately made by the best bed linen craftsmen in the European Union, in a clean plus safe working environment, at a fair salary.
