At Bedrebel, sustainable bed linen is not a separate mission, marketing strategy or dream. No, this is a rock-hard standard and requirement. Being open & honest, as well as making sustainable choices, is what we find more than normal these days. After all, the Bedrebel dreamteam also wants to go to bed with peace of mind every day.

With this mindset, a number of choices regarding our products were very easy to make. For example, all our products are produced responsibly and are supported by leading quality marks such as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 & BCI (Better Cotton Initiative). 

In addition, we at Bedrebel are also very aware that sustainability labels are simply not worth it if the product lacks quality & as a result will still have a short lifespan. That is why all Bedrebel products are made exclusively from 100% high-quality cotton. In order to further guarantee a long lifespan, a solid threat count (TC) has been chosen and only the very best zippers from the leading brand YKK are used.

Bedrebel also does not do fixed bedding sets. You always choose the desired size & fabric type of your pillowcases. Of course, our unique Bedrebel duvet cover clips can also be used universally in combination with any brand of duvet. In this way, we jointly combat waste of materials and really reduce our impact on the planet.

Plastic in the packaging, that obviously does not fit within the Bedrebel concept. That is why we have deliberately chosen a sustainable product packaging & shipping box consisting of 100% paper with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) quality mark. Even the tape on the shipping box is made of paper! This way, the entire packaging plus shipping box can easily go into your paper container at home & will have a beautiful new life after recycling.

In order to close the circle in a proper way, we have chosen to have the production of our Bedrebel products take place close to home. Namely in Portugal & Poland. There, our products are made with passion by the best craftsmen in the European Union in the field of bed linen & bedding, in a clean and safe working environment, for a fair salary.
