Welcome to our privacy statement. For the purchase of Bedrebel products via our webshop, privacy-sensitive data or personal data are processed. Bedrebel considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance at all times. Personal data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

When processing your purchase, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. In short, this means:

Bedrebel may amend this privacy statement at any time. Adjustments will take effect immediately. We recommend that you regularly read this privacy statement. This privacy statement has been updated on 1 October 2023.

When using our web shop, we obtain personal data from you. We store and use only the personal data directly provided by you. This is within the scope of the service requested by you, or of which it is clear at the time of submission that they are provided to us for processing. Take for example a purchase or a subscription to our newsletter.

We use the following data for the purposes stated in this privacy statement:
▪ name and address details
▪ Phone number
▪ Email address

When you place an order with Bedrebel through our online shop, we use your personal data to process it. If necessary for proper processing, we may also provide your personal data to third parties. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.

Bedrebel offers the opportunity to ask questions by phone contact (WhatsApp) or by email, where you will be asked to share various data to handle your query. You choose which data you provide in the process. The data you send us will only be kept for as long as is necessary to fully answer and process your question.

Bedrebel offers a digital newsletter through which we intend to inform interested parties about our products and/or services on a regular basis. For subscription, your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers for this specific newsletter of Bedrebel with your explicit consent. Each newsletter contains a link allowing you to unsubscribe.

Bedrebel, in addition to the information available on our website, may also inform you of our new products and services through offline plus online advertising ads and social media, the latter achieved through the use of Cookies. For more information on how we use Cookies, please refer to our Cookie policy on our website.

Bedrebel uses Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online shop. We have signed a processor agreement with Google to agree on how to handle our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.

We may use third parties to support and/or accomplish our services. These include parties involved in processing your order, financial transactions, hosting providers, application providers and other service providers that process personal data. Such parties will in most cases act under our responsibility as processors of Bedrebel, and are for that reason obliged to observe confidentiality regarding your personal data.

We do not otherwise provide personal data to third parties, unless we are required to do so by law or by court order, including an enforcement authority.

This privacy statement applies solely to our own webshop. As such, this privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are linked to our webshop through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or safe manner. We advise you to read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.

Bedrebel takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.

The personal data described above will be kept by Bedrebel for as long as necessary to process your orders, including the legal guarantee period. Thereafter, we retain data for up to one year for the statistical purposes described above. The data is then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the seven-year tax retention obligation for payment data).

For questions about our privacy statement or questions about accessing, changing, or deleting your personal data, please contact us at any time using the details below. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to provide adequate identification when doing so.

When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you should send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find it in the settings of your browser. If the data is not correct, you can ask us to change it or have it deleted.

Pursuant to privacy legislation, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority against such processing of personal data.
