Other tips and tricks
from our lovely mums & dads

✓ Prevent unnecessary wear and tear on zippers and clips. Do not wash Bedrebel products inside out, close them regularly and add them to the wash.

✓ Don't overload your washing machine during a wash cycle. An overloaded washing machine will result in pills/fluff balls on the fabric, because the fabrics are constantly rubbing against each other.

✓ Use a laundry bag to keep the fabric nice and protect it from friction with the washing drum during washing.

✓ Wash dark and light laundry separately as much as possible for longer colour retention of the fabric. Don't want to risk any colour loss at all? Then wash your entire Bedrebel set together without adding any other laundry.

✓ It's better to have a little less than too much detergent. This is because the Bedrebel fabric will stay soft for longer, not to mention you are also kinder to your own wallet.

✓ All Bedrebel products can be washed at 60 degrees for hygienic reasons. However, be aware that the fabric will wear out faster, and not to forget, mother nature is also less happy about this.

Drying

✓ For the best results, hang your washed bedding indoors or outdoors and dry it naturally in the fresh air. This way, you will get the least wrinkles in your Bedrebel bed linen and you are of course being the most sustainable. Drying and hanging outside? Then avoid the hottest time of the day with its bright sun, as this can cause discolouration of the fabric.

✓ Has the fabric still become a bit stiff after drying in the fresh air? Then put it briefly in the dryer on low setting with a soft towel, so your Bedrebel bedding will be as soft as new again.

✓ Fan of tumble drying? Of course you can and may! But don't dry your bed linen too hot and too long, otherwise it may shrink or pill. Best of both worlds? Then we recommend taking your bed linen out of the tumble dryer a few minutes before the end of the cycle and hanging it out for the least amount of wrinkling.
