A higher thread count than 300 TC for satin cotton results in the fabric feeling very “plastic”, artificial and sweaty on the skin. On the other hand, a lower thread count than 300 TC results in a lower quality and shorter lifespan of the product. In short, a satin weave of 300 TC is perfectly silky soft plus supple, has a long lifespan and also remains strong at all times during washing. A “satin” dream come true!

A fitted sheet should stay neatly and perfectly tight around your mattress at all times. So the clue is in the elastic and the height of the side of the fitted sheet.
