A higher thread count than 300 TC for satin cotton results in the fabric feeling very “plastic”, artificial and sweaty on the skin. On the other hand, a lower thread count than 300 TC results in a lower quality and shorter lifespan of the product. In short, a satin weave of 300 TC is perfectly silky soft plus supple, has a long lifespan and also remains strong at all times during washing. A “satin” dream come true!
